Escaping from goblins to be eaten by wolves!
which story are we in again?
Oh my god, Gurgi's face when they're running away is golden.
This is really helping to fill in my mental image gaps, it's great.
I do wonder why they're running here. At this point they don't *know* the riders aren't friendly. They could be men from Caer Dathyl for all Taran and Co. know.
Back in the action! I wait with baited breath to see what you have in store. :)
Yes I need to go back and redo this to make it more ominous...though precedent, at this point, should make anybody cautious. When the last five horseback riders have been intent on murdering you, it's probably a normal reaction to panic and hide next time one appears.
Go! Go! Go!
I love the "zooming in" from panel 2 to panel 3.
Apparently there was little as terrifying as being ridden down by someone on horseback. Running horses are big and all kinds of scary...
Also, that' what you get for walking through a field, sillies!
Hey, the last few guys on horseback tried to kill him, and these are coming from the direction of the evil castle. Run now, ask questions later!
...poor Eilonwy needs to hold her skirt up... (great detail) =D
So, if they can see the riders - the riders should be able to see them also...
...so, will they find shelter in the woods?
*lol* Gurgi's look there is hilarious... =P
In the last panel Fflewddur looks alarmed, but not as panicked as everyone else. I kind of wonder whether or not he has some experience running from trouble, maybe even the life threatening kind, as a result of self-produced bad luck.
Another great panel! I must admit to feeling a twinge of sadness when I finished my series re-read, so I'm glad this project is still on-going, given my re-found fandom. Keep up the great work!
Everything which moves can be a potential threat, just like home XD
Gurgi's face in that last panel is priceless!
As for Eilonwy's dress ... She had had no need to keep it up with a hand when they ran from the collapse of Spiral Castle. When has it gained in length?
If you are expecting 100% consistency in human behavior - including that of this artist and her character design - you are destined for disappointment I’m afraid.
