This wasn't supposed to be a cliffhanger, but I ran out of time. Sorreeeeeee!!!
You timed this page on purpose for spring, didn't you? lol!
LOL it's been spring for two months where I am! But it is rather appropriate, isn't it?
I love the motes in the sunbeams - apparently the sun shines just a little bit brighter in Medwyn's Valley!
Of course it does!
So I re-read this book fairly recently and for the life of me I can't remember exactly what comes next. Must have spaced out during this chapter, haha. Makes me all the more excited for the next panel. The colors and facial expressions are especially awesome here too. Good work!
Oh man, good stuff coming! At least...well, it depends on what you like, I guess. Very pretty stuff coming...
As always, your use of light is just beautiful!
Wow! So bright and beautiful.
It’s like Oz! Haha
Ah, Eilonwy's magic hair.
You should do a Tangled-esque spoof cartoon sometime, when you don't have enough time for an actual update.
Lol great idea.
Cool, two new pages since I last checked! I agree with the other commenters about your use of light in these panels; the last one is a nice contrast with the subtly wintry look of the first two, and the preceding few pages. On seeing the leaves and butterfly in the last panel, my brain instantly cued up the "Morning Mood" theme from Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite. Clichéd, perhaps, but entirely appropriate to the setting of Medwyn's valley.
Oh, I wish this site supported a soundtrack!
Just discovered this comic and I love it! Its been about 20 years since I read the books and this is making me feel so nostalgic :) Your art is beautiful, keep up the good work ;)
Thank you so much! I'm so glad you found it!
Great last panel with the shock and surprise on everyone's faces as they look on at "this desolate place."
I'm guessing we're about ready to enter the Hidden Valley!
You guess well!
Can't wait to see what the gnomes look like
