Mostly. I have done some truncating and moving things around to suit the visual medium and for efficiency of storytelling, but I'm not fiddling with character or plot, which are perfect as they are.

The brick pattern is a pre-made brush. If I had to do all that by hand it would never happen!

I'm just going to comment to say that Achren has fingernails like Adele. And I love it.

For the matter of that, Adele has a face that would do well for Achren. I wish I'd looked her up before I'd started!

Always a wise adage. Taran, for example, wishing for adventure...

you realize that almost all of the base for this book, is derived from the Disney movie: "the Black Cauldron" right?
right down to the names.

I really, really hope you're joking, or a really good troll.

But if not: you realize Disney based The Black Cauldron on a book series, right? The same book series I'm adapting in this comic. The one I cite in my comic description, whose author I credit, and whose page on amazon I link to.

Disney's adaptation of it was so poor that I'm almost embarrassed you recognized it, though. Fail on my part.
