Cliffhanger ending to an interminable chapter five...let's just enjoy that blackout before moving on.
This. Is. Awesome.
I have never read this book before, but if I never do, I will be so happy to have read this comic. Consider me a fan. I am subbing. Gotta see what happens next! Fantastic art, too, oh my gosh. >.>
Aw, thanks! I get so excited when I can hook people who've never read the books. :) Next chapter's character intro is where it goes from great to fabulous, so hope you continue to enjoy.
I feel like I'm a kid again, on the x-mass eve and I just want to tear off the wrapping paper. She a coming
Annal Nathrak... Oothas Bethard... Dokhail Dienvay!
Are these names, or are you feeding me more possibilities for my imaginary cauldron-born language?
Magic words from the 80s Excalibur movie.
Ahh, ok. Man I haven't seen that in forever.
He now needs a brain scan. That's, like, SUPER bad for you...
No doubt. Probably not as bad as a rogue computer program invading your brain via usb port though.
It was intense!
One of my faves still. Achren was delicious to interpret. I miss her.
That chapter. Well done. That is all.
What a great chapter! That was quite the intense scene with Achren and Gwydion. The last several pages have been so good with the sorcery and the breaking of the sword. Now we're left with Gwydion being led off to who knows where and Taran being knocked unconscious. Great stuff!
Because of this comic, I'm taking my son to the library to get the first book in this series. I can't wait to read it with him.
WOOT!! A new convert!! I LIVE FOR THIS.
I hope you guys enjoy it. It's a different experience reading this when you actually know what's coming. Not better or worse, but it gives you perspective and opinions on how I've chosen to interpret. Look forward to hearing your impressions! Thanks so much for all the feedback!
I'm actually really looking forward to comparing your adaptation to the actual book so I can see what little changes you decided to make, what you decided to highlight, what you decided to leave out, things like that...
