Not many people realize how much having your arms tied behind your back sucks.
Also, this girl is fearless. I wonder if she has any idea WHY Achren hasn't done anything nastier to her.

It's horribly uncomfortable. His arms really should be numb at this point.
Achren's interest in Eilonwy isn't explained until book 3, and Eilonwy's as ignorant of the reason as everyone else. It's one of this cycle's great mysteries how she turns out as well as she does, given her circumstances.

I love your facial expressions so much. Not only Taran's wincing as he's finally able to move his arms from behind his back, but Eilonwy's face as she's untying Taran shows she's concentrating on something else as she's talking. And that bite! Fierce!

This whole scene has been going perfectly! I love Eilonwy's so much (yours is like a billion times better than the Disney one >_<)
Can't wait to see Fflewdur... And Dyrnwyn! With all your little details I am excited to see how it looks :)

Ugh, the Disney version is just nauseating. Of all the terrible things about that movie, she's one of the worst.
Very much looking forward to the next few intros, too! Things might slow down a bit over the summer, but I'm trying hard to keep it consistent.

Love all the flying hair in this one. Reminds me a little of Trina Schart Hyman who is hands down one of my favourite illustrators...partly because of the hair and the gowns...
